A series of poems that explore the complexities of self-love; lost, rediscovered and redefined.

Who Currently Reside in the Ghettos of America
Each of these poems and visual pieces attempt to capture the highs and lows of
being born in black skin on stolen indigenous land. An experience sold to many
but only embodied by a few.
ACTIVISM
Co-Founder of APTP (Anti Police - Terror Project) An organization committed to the eradication of police terror in all of its forms.
Founding member of the Capital City Black Nurses Association.
Sacramento chapter of National Black Nurses Association.
Program Director and Co-Creator of MH FIRST (Mental Health First) a mobile
mental health crisis response team aimed at minimizing police contact
with those who are in the midst of a mental health crisis.
“Black Mamas Media Fellowship.” Author and instructor of the
“Pedagogy of Black Women in Modern Media.” A fellowship that
explored the reclamation of the story of black motherhood in the era of social media.
Founder of Community Care Collective a collective of radical healthcare workers
and allies who are dedicated to creating Anti- racist systems of care.
3C is committed to exposing the cultural and procedural effects of institutional racism
and seeking out opportunities for accountability and equity.
